It goes without saying that those awful years of COVID and lockdowns caused heartbreak and stress for many. It also taught us how precious our local communities are and how vulnerable they can be.

Sponsoring a local community event that raises important money for charity is an important, exciting, and rewarding thing for us to do. What a treat it is, when the event knocks everything out of the ballpark.

Burghfest is an out-of-this-world beer and music festival, in little local Burghfield Common, a village near Reading in Berkshire. To say we leapt at the chance to be wristband sponsors is an understatement, we are proud to support to event, and the fantastic bands (honestly, Murdoch’s Crazy Eyes moved a crowd on a Friday night like I’ve never seen before!).

A massive shout out to the Santas for organising it flawlessly and raising donations for Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Thanks also to the other sponsors making it such a brilliant event, we can’t wait to support and enjoy next year.
