Flying Pictures are the world leaders in aerial filming. We were lucky enough to work with them a couple of years ago creating a fantastic web-based management system. Now we partner up again to re-launch their website.

We know we do a great job in the deep depths of HTML, CSS and PHP (that’s all sorts of code, sorry!). Having one of our brilliant clients use our services for not just one but two projects is something we don’t take for granted.

We met back up the team at Flying Pictures at their Hampshire offices [sadly, no helicopter flights were involved] to understand what they were looking for and to start a plan of action. We quickly realised we were going to be scrapping the existing site and most of it’s content, and really starting from scratch together.

The website design is now strikingly fresh and clean compared to the old version, mostly white with strong blue accents, and lots and lots of beautiful action packed photography.

A picture tells a thousand words

We got a lot of enjoyment out of poring over the team’s photography collection, it was great to have so many pictures that were all completely different to what we’ve worked with before. Given the services Flying Pictures provides, it’s more important than ever that the imagery tells a story immediately on this website.

The website has lots of parallax movement presenting the imagery and copy in smaller snippets. We’re extremely proud of their content management system which allows the team to add their own images to the pages. Our user friendly CMS puts all of their images effortlessly into each parallax page. The result is really effective in this website, take a look at flyingpictures.com.
